What music do seven year olds listen to?

I don't know about your kiddos but mine are still young enough to be satisfied with the CD's that dad bought clear back during his college days. H thinks that listening to U2, Erasure, & suprisingly enough Mozart is cool! Grandma A gave H this fab CD player! H loves it! Mom loves it too because it means less fighting and eliminates the "I'm bored" statement. What do your kids listen to?

  2. My oldest son love Def Leppard and any 80s hairband. He got that from me, of course. My middle son loves anything with great guitar solos. Jimi Hendrix, Ozzy, Metallica. My little brother is an awesome guitar player and has "educated" my son to the extreme. (I think because he'd actually sit there and listen.) So, now my son has a huge collection of burned cd's my brother made him. My daughter loves Jack Johnson.
Thanks for visiting my blog. :)

  3. My six almost seven likes all kinds...dance music, mom's 80's music...sunday favorites and popular music. I try and intro him to all music so he can love it all and not just one...thats what I like too :)

  4. My seven year old is big into movie sound tracks. His favorite right now is the Shrek soundtrack. I too love it that he has his own cd player to keep him occupied. I'm just worried that he's going to be asking for an ipod sooner than later. Hopefully we can hold him off for a few more years.

  5. CUTE picture!

My kids like Brite Music, The Wiggles, and my six-year old is developing a fondness for Bon Jovi.

My sons are all into Dad's college music too. New Order is a particularly big hit -- the littler boys call it "My Disco" as in "Can we please listen to My Disco?!!"

My daughter is older and has succombed more to peer pressure aka Hillary Duff, Michele Branch. We are only attempting to guider her musical choices at this point!
